Arriving by air
London airports Heathrow and Gatwick are linked to Oxford by The Airline coach service (tel: +44 (0)1865 785400). This frequent and direct 24-hour coach service runs every 20 - 30 minutes. It is not necessary to book a bus ticket in advance, but you do need to pay the bus driver in cash rather than on card when boarding http://airline.oxfordbus.co.uk/
The stop to get off at in Oxford is called 'Gloucester Green'. St John's College is about a 15 minute walk from the Gloucester Green bus stop.
Arriving from central London (not airport): Frequent, direct 24-hour coach services connect Oxford with central London, e.g. the Oxford Tube bus service.
Train: A direct train service operates between Oxford and London Paddington approximately every 30 minutes.

Please note that there is no parking available at our conference venue, apologies. Many Oxford streets are closed to traffic, and parking is limited and expensive. Visitors are encouraged to use the 'Park and Ride' bus services which operate between the city centre and parking areas on the outskirts at Pear Tree, Woodstock Road (north); Water Eaton (north); Seacourt, Botley Road (west); Redbridge, Abingdon Road (south); and Thornhill, London Road (east).
